Winter in Dublin

Winter in Dublin is a very special, because winter here lasts for half of the year. Maybe not really, but that’s what I feel as a migrant from Sri Lanka.

Dublin city council puts in a lot of effort to keep the city’s spirit up to the best they can and the work they do to promote both outdoor and indoor leisure activities are quite commendable.

Best thing about staying in Dublin is that how accessible to rest of Ireland.

Once, I was lucky to get a spot on the annual Santa Train. This was organised by Railway Preservation Society of Ireland… Best train ride ever!

There’s plenty of things to do around here. Check out the Christmas markets, carnivals, museum hopping, pub hopping, or even walk around the city and checkout the Dublin winter lights.
