The National Transport Museum, Howth

If you have an extra hour or so during your mandatory Howth cliffs visit, you can pop in to this hidden gem.
If you enjoy old cars and a bit of military history, this could be a pretty great spot. Old trams, unimogs, fire trucks, old buses and milk vans will make your inner child jump a bit.
The National Transport Museum has a fantastic collection of vintage vehicles, some dating late 1800s. It has a pretty unique set of pieces you won’t find anywhere else in Ireland.
Presentation is a bit old school as the number of exhibits packed in a small space. But you who cares,  entry fee is just €5.50 and you get to witness the Irish transport history of about 200 years.
