Ireland’s Eye is a cute little island off the coast of Howth, Dublin. My introduction to it is when my wife booked us a boat ride around the island as a birthday gift, and seeing seals in the wild and puffins for the first time was an unforgettable experience.
The amazing rock formations of the island will give you a wonderful view of all the sea life.
During late spring, Ireland’s Eye is one of the best spots to go bird watching in Dublin. You can see nesting gulls, razorbills, gannets, puffins, peregrine falcons, even seals and dolphins around the island if you’re lucky.
There are plenty of boat services that can take you out there, and there are packages that’ll drop you and pick you up from the Island as well.
